Guidewire Developer – Configurator

• Should have hands on experience in Guidewire (any suite – Policy center, billing center or claim center/ , Guidewire Studio , Guidewire Tools & accelerators ,)  • Participate in user story walk through discussions • Completes design, develops code, unit tests code, documents and deploys code into the appropriate environment • Drive the configuration user story demo sessions with Business and other stakeholders • Estimates the work effort and also review the configuration effort from other developers in the team • Receive technical guidance from Technical Lead and Architect • Participate in business solution workshops and provides inputs form a configuration standpoint • Provide technical guidance to other configuration developers in the team • Review the configuration changes and approve • Review the development estimates  • Review all Gosu code changes, Business Rule changes, validations, workflows and all other configuration elements • Establish best practices, and guidelines for development • Ensure team adheres to the best practices • Establish processes for admin data management  • Drives the configuration user story demo sessions with Business and other stakeholders • Participates in business solution workshops and provides inputs on configuration changes

                         Should have understanding on Upgrading version 7 to version 10

                          Good J2EE based integration skills, JMS, SOA, Web Services


 

•                      Ability to work on Guidewire Plug-ins, Messaging, API

•                      Strong capabilities in relational databases, message queues, and batch systems
