Responsible for addressing all phases of complex information security related technical problems. Reviews and recommends information security solutions to customer problems based on an understanding of products/systems test results. Participate with system security analysis and implementation, system engineering, design assurance, testing, software engineering, program design, configuration management, integration and testing of information security products and techniques.
Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Dedicated resource for configuration, deployment and integration of encryption, public-key infrastructure, data access governance tools (Thales nShield Connect HSM, Vormetric Data Security Manager, Microsoft Certificate Services Infrastructure, Comodo TLS Certificate Manager, and Varonis DatAdvantage/DatAlert)
Provide escalation and on-call support for issues
Documentation of technical engineering, standard operating procedures, integration and upgrade plans, and system configuration specifications.
Ability to cross-train team members
Install and upgrade encryption, PKI and Data protection applications
Gather user input to develop technical requirement documents for setup of encryption within systems
Implementation, management, and troubleshooting of corporate firewalls, IDS, IPS, encryption and authentication systems
Create security devices for alerts, notification and other significant messages for security operations
Review and recommend development, implementation and maintenance of corporate policies, procedures and controls
Conduct research on emerging products, services, protocols, and standards in support of security systems
Participate in annual internal and Sarbanes Oxley audit requirements and ad hoc network and security audits.
Provides guidance, training, leadership and coaching to the junior network engineers of the team as required.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
Knowledge relating to Firewall, Secure Network Server, 2 Factor Authentication
Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley requirements
2 - 4 years’ experience in the Information Technology Industry.
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Proven experience and success with network design and implementation.
Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices.
Excellent hardware troubleshooting experience.
Some application support experience.
