In order to solve the financial challenges of our changing world, we must anticipate what will happen in an environment in which customers are expecting more and competitors are moving faster.  With that, one of our key areas of focus is Future of Work, which is a large-scale initiative to understand and address the impact of rapid changes in customer behaviors and needs, technology and competition. Reporting to the Chief Talent and Capability Officer, the Head of Capabilities for Future of Work will be responsible for developing strategies and frameworks to help us better serve our customers by equipping our workforce to win, by empowering managers and employees with the tools and skills to take on new opportunities and advance their careers. This role will ensure that the organization remains competitive in cost and speed by increasing efficiency and productivity in each of the businesses and the functions.

What you will be doing:


• Assessing current capabilities compared to future business needs in order for the business to have a competitive advantage in the marketplace

• Partnering with businesses to understand their current workforce and how to best continue evolving the workforce’s capabilities against current and future needs

• Developing a reskilling strategy that assesses internal talent and creating strategic solutions that leads to continuous skill renewal

• Leading a cross-functional team that directly supports multiple Future of Work efforts across the enterprise

• Reviewing and leveraging best in class tools as well as data and analytics to improve productivity and achieve efficiency to reinvest in the future growth of Prudential

• Building a learning platform that equips our workforce with the tools and skills to take on new opportunities and advance their careers

• Establishing an internal placement center to drive mobility of Prudential talent

• Leading change efforts directly and through partnership with others and ensuring change readiness through mindset and skill development across the company 

• Providing strategic planning and thought leadership

• Bachelor’s degree required: Advanced degree in any of the following disciplines preferred; MBA, organizational behavior or organizational development

• Global experience

• Demonstrated ability to influence and drive change throughout the organization

• Superior competence in learning agility and demonstrated intellectual curiosity

• Strong executive presence including ability to influence and interact with people at all levels

• Highly organized with the ability to establish priorities and meet strict deadlines

• Proven ability and credibility working effectively and collaboratively within complex organizations

• Demonstrated ability to lead, manage influence, and motivate others

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills

• Some travel required
