The Quality Engineer will oversee quality assurance activities at Henkel's Prescott, WI manufacturing facility to ensure the highest standards quality are being met for our customers.
Responds to quality issues within the manufacturing plant and partners with other manufacturing and engineering departments to implement quality improvement and continuous improvement projects.
Maintain continued compliance of documentation in the ISO/IATF quality system and train inspectors to customer specific quality standards.
Lead Material Review Board meetings for assigned manufacturing processes in support of and resolution of discrepent material.
Work with customers on quality review, and correction action as needed.
Responsible for coordinating and implementing the quality activities as directed by the Quality Manager for the ISO/IATF Quality Management System and perform ISO/IATF internal auditing.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; or four years related quality engineering experience in a printed circuit board manufacturing environment.
2+ years experience working as a quality engineer in a manufacturing environment is required.
ASQ certification preferred.
Experience with ISO 9001/TS 16949 and the ISO 14001 systems preferred.
Knowledge of problem solving tools (Six Sigma, 8D, 5 Why, ETC) and quality metrics.
