Provides technical assistance to computer system users or development teams. Answers questions or resolves computer problems for clients in person, via telephone or from remote location. May provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail and operating systems. May perform research, testing and documentation.
Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Monitors numerous mainframe print queues, directing print to the appropriate printer. Ensures the correct stock is loaded for each print job.
Performs basic problem determination and resolution support for production printers as requited to ensure a reliable production environment.
Produces catalogs and print shop material when requested.
Monitors region jobs. Contacts support when there are issues.
Performs routing, administrative and miscellaneous procedures under the supervision of experienced TS Technicians and/or Supervisors.
Maintains records of transactions, problems or installation activities and remedial actions taken.
Follows processes, develops and updates procedures; provides fast, consistent and reliable customer service.
Operates in a support role to other team members, performing both administrative and directed tasks.
Enters commands and observes system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors.
Stays abreast of the capabilities of related store level systems.
High School diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years relevant work experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong customer focus and demonstrated ability to work in geographically dispersed teams.
Ability to manage competing priorities.
Must have strong computer skills and be proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications.
Demonstrates the ability to follow direction and produce expected results.
Readily adapts to new systems and processes.
Preferred work experience in retail grocery.
