The person hired for the position of Supply Chain Analystwill be engaged in the planning, analytics, and processes related to material planning and inventory management of service parts supporting the Health Care Service Group (HCSG) and its customers. Responsibilities include guiding supply chain activities to deliver exemplary customer service by ensuring adequate, on-hand inventory positions while meeting business cost targets and operating plans.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Develops, implements, maintains, and improves supply chain / logistics plans, processes, and standards for the 3M Health Care Services Group
Responsible for contributing toward the timely distribution of parts directly to internal or external customers, including 3M Health Care’s global service network
Demonstrates a high level of service and customer satisfaction via effective inventory management, order planning and processing, SKU management, inventory accuracy, cycle counting, backorder prevention, and maintaining supplier communication
Implements and maintains supply plans to ensure adequate levels of inventory and optimization of profit while balancing customer service metrics
Ensures local and global issues are incorporated into corporate supply chain and logistic plans, taking local goals and investments into consideration
Performs other related duties as assigned by management
Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Minimum two (2) years of combined experience in Logistics and/or Supply Chain functions including the use of supply chain planning/analysis tools in a private, public, government or military environment
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
Experience in a manufacturing and/or supply chain environment
Demonstrated ability to deliver key operational objectives including service, inventory, and demand planning
Cross-functional team participation as a supply chain resource
Demonstrated understanding of relevant business software and tools such as the Microsoft Office suite, Business Objects, PeopleSoft
Customer-focused mindset; excellent organization skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple, concurrent assignments
Green Belt Certification (or higher)
Experience working with SAP
