Human Resources Generalist

Position Summary:

Provides direction and support in the areas of Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Compensation, Benefits, HRIS, Reward and Recognition, and Performance Management.

Key Job Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Support client group staffing needs including: determination of organizational needs obtaining specific requirements coordinating all advertising recruiting and screening of applicants utilizing and maintaining recruiting system and working with hiring manager on offer letters and starting salaries.

  • Develop and conduct new hire orientation programs maintain (SAP HRIS system) data entry and the integrity of the personnel files including medical files.

  • Advise Supervisors/Managers on all Performance Management, Employee Relations, Compensation, and Benefits issues consulting with corporate resources as needed/appropriate.

  • Assists in the interpretation and application of HR policies and benefit programs. Ensures proper management of employment records and the processing of change forms.

  • Assist/deliver Supervisor/Manager Training for client groups.

  • Must be able to take initiative and work independently on projects; i.e., be able to devise own methods, approach, and procedures in fulfilling assignments.

  • Lead and drive Company initiatives and programs.

  • Must be able to handle employee-sensitive and business information with utmost confidentiality.

  • Manage the payroll process, administration and communication for site employees.

Education and Knowledge Required:


  • Bachelor's Degree or minimum 4 years Human Resources experience preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 Years Professional HR experience. 1 Year supervisory experience desired. Facilitation and training delivery skills desired. Excellent PC skills Microsoft Office(Excel, Word and PowerPoint).

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.  Ability to work flexible hours in a multi-shift 24/5 operation is required.
