This position is full-time, inhouse temporary and requires working in our San Juan, PR location. The position is projected to last about three months.

Responsibilities & Qualifications
The Health Resource Coordinator (HRC) position is a non-clinical position. The HRC provides physician referrals, attends to non-clinical patient/member needs and questions and enrolls members in APH Services products via either outbound or inbound contact. The HRC does not provide any medical advice. Other responsibilities include:
Work in multiple products receiving inbound calls from members, physicians, clients and others to process requests per APH guidelines
Work in multiple products conducting outbound call projects to members for enrollment purposes, customer satisfaction surveys and other outbound projects
Route messages to appropriate nurse and make pertinent notes in patient charts when necessary in a timely manner
Use applications according to policies and guidelines to ensure quality delivery of services
This is a temporary position with AxisPoint Health.
One year previous experience working in an office setting as a receptionist, telephone customer service representative or telemarketing representative required. Direct experience in a telehealth support function preferred.
Good communication skills via telephone with members, customers, peers and superiors; strong listening skills
Ability to make decisions that adhere to policy or operational guidelines using basic critical thinking skills
Confidence to ask for assistance and guidance when necessary
Ability to work with minimal supervision and effectively manage time
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
Ability to type a minimum of 40 WPM and has intermediate computer experience in a windows environment using MS Office including Word and Excel
Knowledge of basic medical terminology
Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time
Ability to apply the ICARE principles to all aspects of the job
