Verisign’s WHOIS team utilizes Agile practices to build critical high-performance, highly-available Internet infrastructure and is responsible for designing and implementing new features for DNS-related services (webwhois.verisign.com, WHOIS, RDAP). You will be a member of this high-performing team developing the service functionality and automated testing.

Experience building horizontally scalable, high performance, and highly available, distributed systems
Proficient with UNIX tools, preferably Linux
Outstanding problem solving and trouble-shooting skills
Excellent team player who enjoys a collaborative team environment
5+ years of relevant work experience in software development
3+ years of programming with C/C++, Java, or other object-oriented languages
Understanding of DNS and Internet protocols
4 year Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
