|Overall responsible for the results and expectations of assigned
|Essential Functions & Responsibilities:|
Increase and monitor member, loan, deposit and product growth. Set goals and
objectives to meet or exceed corporate target/stretch goals. Provide the
proper training and tools to all platform/deposit personnel to achieve this
goal. Encourage branch personnel to become creative in developing
company/branch/individual competitions that encourage member engagement and
cross servicing initiatives for the membership. Must have a clear
understanding of how to monitor monthly statistical reports and evaluate
incentive reports to meet organizational goals. Monitor trends to determine
proper staffing and execution of goals and objectives for all branch
Soundness: Maintain acceptable risk and internal control standards as
demonstrated by minimal exceptions on internal and external audits. Ensure
guidelines and processes are in place that allow branch staff to meet member
expectations regarding consistency while maintaining an environment that
offers a friendly, positive branch environment. Validate branch compliance
and consistency including but not limited to: Member Service/Teller area,
standardization of required office equipment, security and compliance
information and training status, all mandated branch signage, general branch
condition, etc. This validation should be completed on a quarterly basis.
|20%||Leadership and Staff
Development: Establish staff goals, assign priorities, detail actions, create
time schedules and follow through to successfully achieve goals and
responsibilities of the work unit; use prudent judgment on financial matters.
Develop subordinates through formal and informal training, on the job
development and increasing responsibility. Accessible for problem solving and
give timely and effective feedback. Based on leadership role, meet with
direct reports at least semi - monthly, coaching staff to higher
productivity. Explain or demonstrate work techniques to direct reports and
provide feedback for their performance. Assess the strengths and weaknesses
of direct reports and work out a program of continuing developmental
abilities so that their job knowledge, skills and results can be increased.
Effectively motivate the actions of others; develop and maintain cooperative
working relationships and willingly offer assistance to co workers; set a
personal example that encourages participation and cooperation. Pro actively
communicate results and metrics with team. Actively encourage and support
group objectives; give credit to direct reports and to peers for their
successes. Encourage direct reports to accomplish tasks through inter unit
teams, facilitating such cooperation through appropriate communication.
Improve the organization by exploring new ideas; seek additional knowledge,
skills and advancement opportunities; introduce fresh ideas and insights; has
the capacity to produce alternatives to traditional methods and approaches.
Take independent action to meet goals and get the job done; persist in the
face of obstacles. Seek new responsibilities, solutions, and challenges.
Direct and mentor branch employees and conduct performance reviews and
Financial Management: Investigate and develop recommendations for cost
efficiencies and enhancements to products, pricing and processes by
monitoring trends in operations which include staff requirements, hours of
operations, scheduling, potential new products and services, etc. Develop a
realistic and accurate budget from a branch perspective. As projects are
proposed, such as new sites/renovations/mergers and other operational
efficiencies, you will be expected to work with a team of individuals to
complete the task including the creation and submission of a capital expense
budget for all branch locations concerning equipment and potential
renovations and/or building repairs.

|Knowledge and Skills:|
|Experience||Five years to eight
years of similar or related experience.
|Education||Equivalent to a
college degree (BS or BA in a relevant field).
|The ability to
motivate or influence others is a material part of the job, requiring a
significant level of diplomacy and trust. Obtaining cooperation (internally
and/or externally) is an important part of the job and a high level of
interpersonal skills is critical to the success of this position. Work
frequently involves contacts requiring considerable discussion of problems,
material presentations, and resolving issues impacting departments or
