We are seeking a Clinical Systems Analyst to:
Plan and lead projects related to Information Systems in our EMR system
Lead the development of workflows, system configuration, change documentation and support of operations on application functionality
Have excellent communication skills in sharing information with users within the department and organization
Have good understanding of technical infrastructure when applicable such as networking, data interfaces, and server administration
Provide consultative IS advice to departmental and organizational leadership, and guiding other employees within the department
Minimum – Bachelor’s degree (relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of)
Preferred – Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Health care, Information Technology, Business, or related field strongly preferred
Minimum – Three (3) years relevant experience
Preferred – 5 - 7 years relevant experience in a Healthcare setting.
Licenses and Certifications:
Preferred – Clinical applications certification or equivalent
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Knowledge of and ability to provide analysis and quantitative/qualitative study designs
Ability to make judgments in demanding situations
Comfortable accepting responsibility for leading medium to large scale projects involving multiple resources and spanning many months from start to finish
Ability to interpret technical specifications and work with infrastructure analysts to design and implement technical infrastructure
Light: Ability to lift up to 10 pounds maximum and occasionally lifting and/or carrying such articles as dockets, ledgers and small tools. Although a sedentary job is defined as one, which involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and other sedentary criteria are met.
Work Schedule:100% FTE, 40 hours per week. Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm with 24/7 on-call rotation about every 14 weeks. Hours may vary based on the needs of the department.
