What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Participate in UX endeavors across various business units, including facilitation and performance of reviews to ensure standards of the best UIXD practices and branding guidelines across multiple applications

  • Build third-party logistics applications, prototypes and wireframes that present solutions through innovative concepts, reusable design components and efficient interaction design

  • Collaborate with engineers and designers to define innovative user experiences through user journeys, storyboards, flow diagrams, etc.

  • Strategize with team members to develop user research methods and conduct in-person usability studies

  • Work closely with Software Engineers, Product Managers, Product Analysts and QA on maintaining and developing new applications

  • Engage in an agile/scrum-oriented work environment

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a design-related field

  • 2 years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience, including designing for information systems such as mobile design, SaaS applications, e-commerce platforms or large-scale marketing websites

  • Experience with common design tools such as Sketch, Adobe CS, etc.

  • General understanding of information architecture

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Advancement in continuing education programs focused on human interaction design, communication, marketing, etc.

  • Bilingual

  • Practical skills in educating others on various aspects of user experience design

  • Ability to lead projects and conduct independent research

  • Familiarity with various rapid prototyping tools, including Invision and Axure

  • Experience creating micro-interaction animations using tools like Adobe After Effects, Principle, Flinto, etc.

  • Ability to collaborate on multidisciplinary teams
