Provides assistance to the Director of OU Health Services and the University Counseling Center in the areas of budgeting, accounts payable and account reconciliations. Assists in comprehensive reviews of departmental budgets.
Assists in budget preparation.
Review reports to determine funding status of accounts and recommends actions to correct problems.
Performs analysis of ledger accounts, cash transactions and account deposits.
Assists in the preparation of the general ledger and statements.
Responsible for coordinating specialized budget and accounting functions.
Prepares funding, expenditure and payroll reports.
Monitors accounts, maintains reports, organizes and maintains specialized filing systems.
Inputs, reviews and distributes data to departments.
Oversees timely payment of expenses for Health Services and University Counseling Center.
Supervise and train budget, accounting and/or clerical support staff.
Required Education: High School Diploma and some college or equivalent combination of education/job related experience, AND
Advertised Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
Must be able to see, communicate, move and engage in repetitive motions.
Frequent exposure to pressure caused by deadlines and busy periods; requires regular contact with other departments and university officials.
Supervision: Might supervise other budget, accounting, and/or clerical support staff.
