This position provides the customer with a dedicated resource to assist with meeting established business objectives. As an extension of the customer's staff, the dedicated resource will be responsible for identifying and meeting their assigned customer's needs though providing service and support on the applicable equipment and products that aligns with Carousel's high standards of customer support and focus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the design, implementation, and operations of multiple clients networks (LAN/WAN), ranging in size from small office to service provider
Manage, troubleshoot and repair advanced IP and MPLS networks, configuration and implementation of routing policy.
Act as a trusted adviser to customers and technical authority for the network team.
Provide Tier IV network troubleshooting expertise.
Establishes an efficient and effective repeatable methodology for architecture and engineering solutions from concept to delivery of operations.
Provides recommendations for new products and technology for supporting all layers of the IT infrastructure architecture
Experience with and the ability to provide break/fix support, complete moves, adds, and changes, and provide administrative support for:
Juniper Route and Switch
Cisco Route and Switch
Expert-Level understanding of MPLS and IP
JNCIE or CCIE Route and Switch required
10+ years experience providing network architecture leadership
5+ years experience managing relationships with senior technical customers
Understanding of security best practices and concepts
Experience working in ITIL framework
Strong troubleshooting, problem solving, and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in MSP environment preferred
Valid driver's license.
Willingness to provide personal information and submit to background checks, drug screening, and health inquiries as required by assigned client.
