Job Description:

The Credentialing Services Supervisor ensures contract fulfillment of insurance requirements and credentialing of sub-contractor vehicles and drivers. The Credentialing Services Supervisor provides leadership support on the development, implementation and execution of all LogistiCare credentialing program efforts that establish a culture within the Company promoting adherence to relevant federal and state laws, contract standards, and the Company's ethical standards. The Credentialing Services Supervisor will facilitate communication to manage these expectations in a timely manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Manages Credentialing Services Specialists and Leads
Meets weekly with staff to discuss work flow, upcoming projects, training opportunities, success stories and challenges the staff encountered that week
Identifies process improvements and works with the Manager and Director of Credentialing Services to create policies and procedures to implement
Serves as the liaison to the clients for audits and is the key person to coordinate the document retrieval from the various departments to ensure timely submittal
Maintains daily and/or weekly reports to the Credentialing Services Manager of all staff, provider and facility issues
Reviews staff timecards
Liaison with other teams as needed
Direct input to Credentialing Services Manager on hiring decisions, directing work appraising performance, and administering corrective actions as appropriate

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists the Credentialing Services Manager by monitoring the performance of the Credentialing Services Leads and Credentialing Services Specialists. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include assisting and assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education
High school graduate; bachelor's degree required

Experience
One to three years of office experience including experience interacting with customers, problem solving and administrative support functions

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Personality skills -- Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Able to communicate clearly and comfortably with groups ranging from 2-12 people
Competencies -- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, team building, time management and timely follow through skills
Computer Skills -- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Access and Power-Point
