SCHEDULE: PRN/Per Diem

OR RN - PER DIEM - MONDAY-FRIDAY - WITH CALL FTE 0.001

PALMS WEST HOSPITAL

LOXAHATCHEE, FL 33470

Located on a spacious 94-acre campus in Palm Beach County, the surrounding areas are: Wellington, which is a community known for its abundant parks, quality schools, attractive neighborhoods and equestrian interests. Royal Palm Beach, is 10 miles west of the Atlantic Ocean and is located in the central part of Palm Beach County which is in the Southeastern part of the State. Loxahatchee located in Palm Beach County Florida is known for its large acreage parcels, new homes, and equestrian community

Palms West OR has 8 OR Suites and does between 22 to 25 cases per day. The Operating Room Staff Nurse is a registered nurse who is responsible to provide safe effective nursing care to all surgery patients utilizing the nursing process. The registered nurse also is responsible for the direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care while in the operating room.

QUALIFICATIONS QUALIFICATIONS:

* Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.

* Current State of Florida RN License, or

* Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)

* Two or more years of experience as an OR RN preferred

* Previous Circulating Experience Required

* Prefer Scrub Experience

* Knowledge of AORN standards and practice required

* Current BLS, ACLS & PALS certifications via American Heart Associaiton

* Current CNOR certification preferred.

* Rotating Call required
