Job Description

The Program Manager will be based in Milpitas, Ca and will provide program management support and leadership for our Advanced Engineering Group (AEG) on personnel, and internal and external customer projects. Responsibilities will range from project cost estimating, planning, materials requirements, scheduling, monitoring, customer communications, tracking, shipping, revenue realization and cost avoidance reporting.  Critical interface with all AEG Lab Team associates for in-depth support and interface to Flex operational business teams.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do…


  • Organize, plan and direct program schedules and budgets

  • Responsible for tracking relevant metrics and drive action items based on results.

  • Oversee all interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of all commitments made relative to product development timelines, delivery, quality and the required business metrics.

  • Reviews program proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding requirements, procedures for accomplishing program, staffing requirements and allotment of available resources to various phases of program.

  • Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of program, and arranges for recruitment or assignment of personnel.

  • Manage the coordination of product life cycle activities with P&L and customer satisfaction and have responsibility for accounts of various complexities.

  • Monitor and track that project and program deliverables are met.

  • Be responsible for maintaining excellent customer relations with both new and existing customers.

  • Support production sites for projects, costs and other customer related matters through leadership and contract negotiations as required.

  • Coordinates program activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agencies.

  • Implement appropriate HR Strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.

  • AEG Labs Tours: collect Tour request from Business Development Team and coordinate associate to provide tours according to guest/customer requirements.

  • Coordinate and Schedule shipments with traffic and logistics team for inbound and outbound equipment, materials and supplies as needed

Here is some of the required experiences you’ll need (required)…


  • 4+ years of Program Management experience.

  • Great communicator, outgoing, very social.

  • Contact materials suppliers and vendors for consumables and unique items for AME Labs projects

  • Create Capital Equipment Purchase doucmentation and manage process.

  • Log, list and submit ICV out of pocket expense for AME Labs to Finance one a month or end of quarter

  • Update AME Labs performance matrix

  • Schedule meetings for projects and all interfacing with customers

  • Provide monthly Job log to PMM and NDAs to new customers as required.

  • Create monthly reports, quarterly KOI reports and yearly summaries highlighting accomplishments.

  • Manage value add in terms of Revenue and Cost Avoidance for group.

  • Provide NDA to new customers/suppliers and storage

  • Support/assist all lab personnel when requested.

  • Communication between engineers, Business Development and site Program Managers

  • Assist customer/vendor code setup

  • Manage communications between AME and Operational teams

  • Support scheduling and prioritizing projects for all team members

  • Manage team Project meetings and track process

  • Assist AME Team with PM requirements and unique tasks (ordering posters, etc)

  • Manage all maintenance requests for AME Labs

  • Business/Financial background specifically with P&L is a BIG plus.

  • PMP Experience or Certification a plus
