The Business Insight Analyst provides analytical and presentation development support to strategic initiatives / evaluations. This position will be responsible for monitoring market activity, developing market analytics and intelligence, and supporting business plan development through data and financial analysis. The person filling this role will collaborate with key players and functions across the organization.
Prepare proposals and presentations for current and prospective consulting engagements
Perform financial and operational assessment and forecasting for external client and internal projects
Perform analysis of industry trends, potential acquisition candidates and competitor activity.
Lead evaluation and integration of prospective acquisitions and JV opportunities
Identify financial and operational improvements of existing PV investments, and support plan to execute improvements
Collaborate with marketing team and other key players to develop and execute digital marketing strategy, lead nurturing, SEO/SEM, and CRM analytics
Support client real estate site selection including refinement of the urgent care predictive algorithm
Conduct original industry research for JUCM and IUCM and preparation of industry presentations
Completes financial analysis, including cost/benefit, cost estimates and decision support analysis, to provide SIU and divisional leadership with the financial-impact information they need to make decisions.
Proactively identifies and continually incorporates innovative analytical approaches in order to further define and segment key business data and metrics.
Locates, acquires, transforms, and analyzes data from various data sources, requiring the expert use of querying, reporting and presentation tools.
Works with necessary business partners to create metrics related to the divisional profit and growth plan.
Conducts business analysis to support and drive business decisions using statistical modeling and other business analytic tools.
Develops models to evaluate the performance and impacts of various scenarios related to operations and results.
Understanding of the drivers that influence organizational success, preferably from the health care industry
Problem-solving capabilities, data modeling expertise, and analytical skills
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills consistent with a client group including Senior Managers & Executives
Ability to build effective relationships with people at all levels of the organization
Highly proficient in PC skills, including Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint, financial modeling
Ability to manage highly confidential material and information
Must work well under pressure and be able to deal with ambiguity
Self-starter, highly motivated with the ability to work with limited supervision
Education and Experience:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field. Master’s Degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with strategic business analysis
