Rosemount™ Measurement & Analytical, a business unit of Emerson Automation Solutions, is currently seeking a Welder 1. Rosemount™ is a signature brand of Emerson, offering a comprehensive line of measurement instrumentation, analyzers and systems which are used in a wide range of applications found in critical processing facilities such as refineries, chemical plants, power plants, pipelines, and more. Description
To perform welding tasks in the manufacture of Rosemount products to conform with specifications and certification requirements.

Responsibilities


  1. Welds production and less difficult prototype instrumentation piece parts in various materials including stainless steel, precious and semi-precious metals using various types of welding processes which may include TIG
    and/or MIG.

  2. May operate program welding machine to weld production units and also assist machine welding operator in
    program welding higher volume production units when work load requires it.

  3. Welds must pass destructive and non-destructive testing based on certification requirements per individual product.

  4. Must maintain individual welding qualification and certification per product requirements.

  5. Sets up fixtures and lays out work for production and prototype piece parts.

  6. Performs work of a miscellaneous nature as required

Current Shift Schedule: Friday - Sunday, 7:30am - 8:00pm

On June 28, 2019, shift is changing to: Friday - Sunday, 5:30am - 6:00pm

Requirements

 

Education: A) High School diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED) and three (3) years of welding experience, OR B) Verified completion of a Welding certificate program and a minimum one (1) year of welding experience
Must obtain and maintain applicable company welding certifications.  

 

Experience: A) Three (3) years of welding experience and a High School diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED), OR B) One (1) year of welding experience and verified completion of a Welding certificate program.
