Emerson’s Enterprise IT Employee Experience team is looking for a customer-minded individual to help a global employee base find value in the programs and applications provided by Enterprise IT.   The IT Employee Experience Program Analyst will speak the language of the end user!   This person should understand the impact of technology from the perspective of the employee and will create awareness and adoption communications that address their organizational change management concerns.   PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Collaborate to create and execute Enterprise IT’s awareness and adoption programs effectively.   

  • Utilize a variety of communications channels available to reach a global, multi-functional, multi-generational audience.  This will include, but isn’t limited to, email campaigns, in-person presentations, video presentations & demonstrations, as well as regular maintenance of internal social media channels and intranet websites. 

  • Willingness to be the face and voice of the end-user experience.  Provide a human element to the fast paced “treadmill of change” today’s technology brings to the business. 

  • Recommend and/or implement creative and innovative solutions, modifications and enhancements to Enterprise IT’s awareness and adoption programs. 

  • Work proactively with Enterprise IT service teams and management to address key information through various awareness and adoption program initiatives. 

  • Collaborate with vendors on development of awareness and adoption campaign activities where needed. 

  • Create and analyze effective methods of employee feedback that will help guide the employee experience with customer satisfaction of Enterprise IT services. 

  • Sustain and improve the awareness program by staying up to date on current and emerging techniques, and participating in industry events 

  • Clearly understand and incorporate Emerson’s security policies, standards, and guidelines as a key component of the awareness and adoption message.  


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Information Technology, Technical Writing or related degree field required 

  • Master's Degree is a plus  

  • Fluent in the written and spoken English language 

  • Additional languages are a plus.   EXPERIENCE/SKILLS 

  • Minimum 3 years of communications or training experience preferred. 

  • Skilled Presenter - comfortable before a live audience, as well as in front of a camera and/or microphone. 

  • Strong presentation creation and writing skills required 

  • Demonstrated ability to work with technical subject matter experts and translate that information seamlessly to non-technical employees and stakeholders. Remove the mystery of tech-speak! 

  • An enthusiasm around technology, and an understanding of how it can improve people’s lives every day. 

  • Experience developing and implementing technical education and awareness programs & strategies. 

  • Experience with multiple communications channels which will include video, web, and internal social media. 

  • Proficiency in Office 365 and cloud storage 

  • Ability to develop creative and innovative solutions to complex technical issues. 

  • An understanding of effective techniques to gain employee feedback, and how to use the results to create positive change for the organization. 

  • Self-starter; adaptable to change; motivated.
