The Hewlett Packard Enterprise Global Executive Recruiting team partners with senior leaders to recruit executive-level roles (Director, Vice President, and Senior Vice President) through both internal and external channels. The team’s primary mission is to ensure we attract ‘best in class’ executive talent for our key leadership roles to accelerate HPE’s future success.
This position will be located in San Jose, California.
In this role you will be aligned to one or more business units to deliver against the executive recruiting needs supporting Hewlett Packard Enterprise strategic business imperatives for the Storage business. You’ll build relationships with senior business and HR stakeholders to identify, plan and implement recruiting strategies that drive an effective process which results in an impactful hire.
Aligned with these stakeholders you’ll also support internal talent moves and the succession process in conjunction with the Talent Management team.
Planning and Partnering
Proactively engage in HR and business conversations to uncover executive talent gaps, themes or needs that impact executive talent acquisition
Devise and execute on talent acquisition strategies
Partner across HR for end-to-end client satisfaction in the recruiting process
Proactively develop candidate-generation strategies to develop diverse candidate slates using all available recruiting tools
Proactively identify and build relationships with external prospects
Effectively represent and market the HPE employment brand, the organization's business objectives and global career opportunities to potential candidates
Assess candidates for experience, alignment to company values and leadership attributes
Readily identify and address objections; summarize candidate's strengths and needs relative to role and to an HPE career
Managing Candidates & Offers
Collaborate with hiring manager and business HR to create and deliver a comprehensive, compelling, differentiated and balanced offer
Demonstrate in-depth awareness of employment laws and regulations; know when to engage legal or employee relations colleagues for support
Experience & Skills
Bachelor’s degree and / or equivalent work experience
Minimum10 years of related business experience, with at least five years of executive recruiting experience.
Strong knowledge and recruitment experience in technology; with strong preference for knowledge of and network in the enterprise Storage technology domain
Prefer executive search and in-house executive recruitment experience
Proven ability to:
Direct source and assess talent for executive level roles: Director, Vice President level roles
Consult, influence,and advise senior executives; manage senior executive relationships across geographies and business groups
Deliver results working across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Build strong external network of both industry peers and executives within technology; internal network of business leaders and HR stakeholders
Engage and manage external search firms as needed
Demonstrate business maturity and executive gravitas in all interactions
