This person will be managing sourcing and contracting processes at Verisign, which includes identifying sourcing opportunities and be instrumental in achieving objectives across price, quality, service, and compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leads the execution of strategic sourcing and competitive bidding initiatives, including conducting spend and data analysis, internal assessments, drafting requests for proposals, evaluating proposals, and negotiating with suppliers.

  • Leads the contracting process for complex supplier contracts, including collaborating with stakeholders on business and technical requirements, conducting contract reviews, forming negotiating strategies, conducting negotiations, and managing contract administration and performance related activities.

  • Maintains purchasing-related documentation, including sourcing and contracting records and deliverables, supplier performance information, compliance metrics, and value capture results.

  • Reviews and analyzes purchase requisitions and coordinates purchasing activities with the procurement strategy, including use of preferred suppliers.

  • Develops and maintains policies and procedures for sourcing and contracting and other procurement related processes

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

8 years of related progressively responsible related business experience leading strategic sourcing and contracting initiatives across various spend categories, including Corporate Services, Information Technology, Professional Services and Telecommunications

Strong problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills.

Proven experiences in leading complex sourcing and contracting initiatives.

Track record in leading contract life-cycle management process improvement initiatives.

Proficient use of standard strategic sourcing, contracting and procurement related tools


Graduate Degree or equivalent work experience

Strong leadership skills to manage cross functional teams

Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)

Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM)
