As a critical member of the marketing web team, you will champion and advance user experience for Aruba web properties. You’ll develop new websites, webpages and microsites, implement designs and driving usability, while operating within brand style guidelines and latest coding standards. For all projects, you will conduct cross browser testing and make modifications to ensure the best user experiences across all devices and browsers. Projects will include regular maintenance and enhancements and optimizations to all of our existing websites, microsites, mobile sites and email campaigns. As an expert in the field, you’ll help us document our processes, infrastructure, and assist in the development of design and functional specifications.

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in CS/IT/engineering

  • 5+ years of experience in web/app development, preferably in an enterprise environment

  • Expert level knowledge of front-end development languages, primarily HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, AJAX

  • Working knowledge of scripting languages such as PHP/MYSQL

  • Experience in developing for WordPress; knowledge of other CMS is a plus, WordPress is a plus

  • Fluency in cross-browser development and troubleshooting of responsive websites

  • Working knowledge of front-end optimization and performance techniques is a plus

  • Solid understanding of web standards and usability

  • Experience with enterprise/SaaS web applications is a plus (i.e. Visualforce, Eloqua, etc.)

  • Strong creative problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organization and task management skills

  • Ability to perform independently with little direct supervision, work effectively with cross-functional and remote team members
