The PACU is open from 5am-9:30pm, Some call is required for this position.

The PACU RN renders professional nursing care on assigned patients of all ages with covert, complex nursing care needs in accordance with nursing standards and treatment plans to provide for patients' comfort and well-being. Nurse demonstrates clinical expertise in the areas of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care, while concurrently functioning as a resource person for other nursing staff. Demonstrates professional conduct and accountability in accordance with Hospital Philosophy and Mission Statement.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Current licensure as an RN in the state of Utah or RN Compact license required.

* Current BLS and ACLS certification, PALS required within 90 days of hire.

* Required to have graduated from an accredited Registered Nursing program.

* 6 months clinical nursing experience or the equivalent required.
