Job Description:

Major Responsibilities:

  • Documents existing processes

  • Designs new processes

  • Identify process improvement opportunities

  • Lead small/medium tactical projects to meet scope, timelines, and budget

  • Act as liaison for Care/Sales on process and system projects

  • Gather, identify and document business requirements

  • Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements

  • Create test plans, scripts, use cases and bug resolution

  • Execute system and process testing

  • Provide training and communication documentation required to help facilitate Care training

  • Work with other functional teams; Transportation, IT, Marketing, Merchandising, Pricing, Operations, Finance

  • Create project and communication plans

  • Communicate project status to stakeholders

  • Identify key communication points and inputs

  • Write and distribute communications per procedures to Sales and Customers

  • Look for ways to reduce re-work of processes, procedures and communications

  • Develop technical recommendations to business partners

  • Work with customers as needed

  • Understands and demonstrates Essendant’s Core Values.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred

    • 2 years’ experience in similar role

    • BA certification a plus

  • Knowledge of MS Office


  • Some travel required
