The primary objective of the position is to build and lead an Enrollment team, develop the necessary capabilities and infrastructure that enables the organization to capitalize on our worksite opportunity and reach our aspirational goals. This individual will need to create a vision/strategy for the future and articulate the vision in a way that generates followership across the enterprise.
Group & Worksite Enrollment Leadership
Develop, communicate, educate and continuously refine overall Enrollment vision for Guardian Commercial Markets business with a continuous focus towards increased voluntary benefits participation
Champion the integration of Enrollment into Guardian's overall business model by partnering with Commercial Markets Executive Leadership Team
Lead the development and adoption of recommended Enrollment strategies and solutions for Small Group Sales (SGS), Core Market (under 500 lives), Large Market (500 lives) and Worksite
Collaborate with Guardian Enterprise Customer Experience, Digital and Technology leadership to influence the overall proprietary Enrollment platform strategy
Influence Benefits Administration partnership and integration strategy to ensure Guardian's Enrollment experience is optimally reflected in third party platforms
Develop a dedicated enrollment function that keeps pace with distribution and customer needs, aligns resources to enrollment demand in a cost-effective manner, and operates with a clear system of measures and accountabilities.
Enrollment Consultancy Management
Via Enrollment & Technology Manager, direct the development of a team of Enrollment Marketing & Technology Consultants that serve as voluntary benefits enrollment experts, providing dedicated consultation for enrollment technology, communications, and employee engagement for cases that offer one or more voluntary group benefits
Ensure Enrollment & Technology consultants develop strategies for initial enrollment and re-enrollment for case sizes 250 lives
Ensure Enrollment & Technology Leadership is involved with RFP opportunities, finalist planning discussion and strategic implementation calls
Benefits Communication and Benefits Advice Strategy & Tool Development
Via Enrollment Delivery Lead, direct the development of print and digital campaigns, tools and assets
Ensure appropriate benefits communications are leveraged during pre-enrollment, enrollment and post-enrollment to help raise awareness via messaging around Guardian voluntary benefits
Work closely with Marketing to ensure the materials and messaging support the Guardian value proposition and drives employee engagement in the enrollment process
Leverage technology to provide benefits advice to employees at the right time so that they can make the best benefit decisions by life stage and eligibility status
Monitor enrollment campaign / activities and conduct post enrollment analysis to determine how to improve participation in Guardian voluntary coverages and enrollment effectiveness
Enrollment Operations Management
Via the Enrollment Operations Manager, direct the management of Contract Enroller Network
Ensure appropriate process and technology is in place to allow Regional Enrollment Coordinators to effectively manage Contract Enrollers
Ensure appropriate programs are in place to develop and deliver contract enroller network training
Ensure development and execution of Quality Assurance program for contract enrollers
Ensure operational metrics and reporting are in place to monitor contract enrollers utilization and performance
Enrollment Firm Operational Management
Collaborate with the National Manager of Enrollment Firm Partnerships who is focused on managing Guardian's enrollment firm relationships, vetting Preferred Partners and acting as a liaison between the partners and Guardian
Ensure optimal utilization of enrollment firms to help grow Guardian Voluntary Worksite business
Direct the operationalization of Enrollment Firms into Guardian's Business Model and ensure operational processes are ready to handle Enrollment Firm related growth
Performance Management and Talent Development
Create and maintain a diverse, high performing team capable of doing the work by setting expectations, recruiting best talent for open positions, addressing performance issues early and developing team members by providing ongoing feedback and appropriate development opportunities.

This position reports to the Vice President, Group Products and Worksite Leader who, in turn, reports to the Senior Vice President, Group & Worksite Markets. CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 15 years of significant group/worksite industry experience
Bachelor's Degree required, advanced degree a plus
