Job Description:

The USIS Strategic Initiatives Lead, Senior position will provide support to the US Information Services Business Unit, ensuring implementation and consistent communication of the initiatives approved and assigned by the USIS Strategic Initiatives Leader. This job is accountable for leading multiple large, complex initiatives which would include business programs from ideation to execution, partnership with cross functional teams to roll out new organization models, business processes, new products and systems across business lines and driving change management across the overall effort. Additional skills required are monitoring progress against goals and key metrics, compiling standard project reporting packages, communicating and leading project teams as required to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
This Position is Responsible for the Following:


  • Produce integrated program plans and supporting documentation

  • Analyze program and project data, monitor and report on the health of the project for schedule, scope, budget, risks and resources.

  • Prepare and present Executive level presentations and communications

  • Lead a cross-functional, cross-BU team of project managers for the assigned strategic initiatives which may include leading some component projects associated within the program, as necessary

  • Support the Program teams in solving issues and mitigating risks with effective strategies and collaboration.

  • Perform analysis on results and use data to derive conclusions.  Communicate analysis to key stakeholders using a clear approach and recommendation of valid solutions.

  • Support the USIS business by sharing best practices, tips, tricks, templates and lessons learned.

  • Mentor to junior level team members as to the proper use of tools, compliance and project management as a practice.

  • Represent the USIS Strategic Initiatives in Equifax broader program management community discussions and collaborative groups.

Experience and Education:


  • Bachelors Degree in Business or a related discipline, MBA preferred

  • PMP preferred, PgMP preferred

  • 10-15 years of management consulting and / or program and project management experience in a high growth, complex environment

  • Demonstrated record of delivering strong business results

  • Experience engaging directly with C-Suite/Senior Leadership

  • Demonstrated experience of indirect/influential leadership; managing others without having direct ownership of the team

  • Strong communication skills, written and oral

  • An ability to build relationships in all levels of the organization

  • Excellent presentation skills to socialize project plans and dashboards to executives and stakeholder audiences in person and remotely
