RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Works with HR Management on compensation projects (bonus, salary review and market surveys).

  • Develops procedures to streamline processes related to compensation matters to ensure successful government audits and support the HR Director to educate Managers on compensation related issues.

  • Makes recommendations to leaders in the development of long-range compensation and incentive objectives considering such factors as corporate growth objectives.

  • Works with HRIS to ensure system meets compensation updates and requirements.

  • Serves as the primary interface with Business Development for any compensation inquiries and helps research compensation solutions and strategies.

  • Conducts quality analysis to determine best practices and standards for HR operations.

  • Manages wage survey submissions for all compensation reporting and DCAA audits.

  • Stays abreast on compensation trends, legal issues, and alerts in order to make recommendations for improvement areas.

  • Works in conjunction with Recruiting Department in the development of job description criteria, including coding of FLSA status, salary grades, etc.

  • Other duties as assigned.



QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or applicable field.

  • Seven years of HR experience in a corporate setting, with at least five years dedicated compensation experience.

  • CCP Certification preferred.

  • Experience working with a government contracting multi-national or global company.

  • Must have knowledge of multi-state laws and regulations, as well as HR quality/compliance standards and practices.

  • Exceptional system/HRIS and spreadsheet skills required.

  • ADP experience strongly preferred.

  • Effective oral and written communication skills with all levels of the organization.

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion.

  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.
