The HR Project Manager will be responsible for leading, coordinating and driving multiple Human Resource projects and programs impacting organization s robust culture.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads human resource projects and initiatives from initiation through to implementation
Collaborates with HR leadership and/or project sponsors to develop project and program scope, goals, activities and plans
Key member of HR team whose project work contributes significantly to employee engagement across the business
Supports internal communications efforts
Conducts internal and external research to drive approach and inform on best practices for key initiatives (i.e. attrition analysis)
Ensures each project phase is completed on time and that appropriate review and sign-off by project sponsors has been completed
Escalates issues impacting the project or program to HR Leadership and/or project sponsors, as appropriate
Writes or revises procedural and training manuals, summary reports, and other communications as requested
Assists in the training and education of HR staff members on new programs, processes and practices
Monitors projects and programs after implementation and recommends changes and enhancements as necessary
Other ad hoc projects and duties as assigned
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Familiarity with the different HR functional areas such as Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Compliance, Employee Relations
Strong foundational knowledge of human resources practices and procedures
Ability to challenge and influence while building effective relationships and partnering with key stakeholders
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
Related Work Experience
4+ years HR Generalist experience including; Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and HR Project Management
Broadcast Media experience preferred, but not required.
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Program management experience to include leading, planning, organizing and implementing human resource projects or programs
