Our restaurants serve hundreds and thousands of guests daily; high volume but without ever sacrificing high quality.The Chef team ensures quality standards are consistently met in the areas of food production, team management and guest experience. Responsibilities of a Chef may include:Collaborates to plan and execute seasonal menus in the restaurantsLeads a team: hires, schedules, assigns, trains, evaluates and develops Back of the House (BOH) employeesPartners with Front of the House to ensure a seamless and efficient restaurant experienceAnalyzes financial data, such as sales and costs, and monitors budget to ensure efficient operations and profitCollaborates interdepartmentally to plan activities, special events, share information, etc.Supervises inventory, estimates ordering costs/needs and receives/checks ordersDocuments, investigates, escalates and resolves employee or guest incidentsPerforms other duties as required or assignedGENERAL QUALIFICATIONSCulinary management experience in high-volume, high-quality restaurantsIn-depth understanding of Italian cuisineExceptional communication, leadership, motivational and team-building skills  Demonstrated problem-solving, organizational, analytical and business management skillsKnowledge of kitchen equipment and procedures, safety and sanitation regulationsAdvanced computer skillsBachelor’s Degree or degree from a post-secondary culinary arts training program highly preferredBENEFITS AND PERKSMedical, Dental, Vision Insurance and Paid Parental LeavePaid Time Off, 401K with company match, Commuter BenefitsDiscounts at Eataly If you would like to start a conversation with us, please complete an application.
