SUMMARY and PURPOSE OF POSITION
Clinical Departments, in today's healthcare setting, are at the center of rapidly changing information, technology, and resource management and procurement. The manager s role is often consumed by administrative tasks, rather than focused on staff development, performance, and the patient experience. This position supports the unit(s) by managing information, material resources, and facilitating the flow of information to expedite patient care.
Education, Certification, Registration, LicenseAssociate's Degree
Field of Study: Office AdministrationYears of Experience: 3 yrs admin experience in lieu of Associate's Degree
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree and/or 3 years experience in an administrative/secretarial role
High school diploma/GED or equivalent years of experience in an administrative role
Computer skills (MicroSoft Office products), evidence of strong organizational/prioritization skills, time management, interpersonal skills, and customer service
KIND and LENGTH of EXPERIENCE
3 years in an administrative/secretarial role in a healthcare setting preferred
