Safety Assistant (New Hampshire):  We are seeking a safety minded, detailed oriented, and highly organized individual to assist the Safety Division of the New England Group which consist of the Pike Industries, Redimix Companies, PJ Keating and Tilcon CT.  This position will work under the direction of the Safety Director and work closely with the other members of the Safety team including other line of business.  Responsibilities include but not limited to:  assist with the handling of General Liability claims for the New England Group, filing claims with our insurance carrier and completing internal notifications.  This position will also assist with the company’s training matrixes, data entry, and maintain training documents, including maintaining the Driver behavior database which includes running reports and respond to inquiries as needed.  Filing and maintaining federally required documents such as MSHA Quarterly reports and Competent Persons Lists are also required.  Classification:  This is a year-round hourly position.


  • Must be committed to providing and promoting a safe work environment.

  • High school diploma; pursuing a degree preferred, or related experience and/or training.

  • Excellent  Microsoft Office skills and Power Point

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Must be detail oriented, organized, and have problem-solving and reasoning skills

  • Extended hours with possible night and/or weekend work as well as overnights.

  • Willingness to travel to other locations throughout the company when needed.

  • A valid driver’s license
