DuPont Safety Excellence Award and is a founding member of the ET&D Partnership, a collaborative industry partnership working to reduce fatalities, injuries, and illnesses in the electric line construction industry, is currently seeking a Quality Administrator in our Central Region for a Telecom project based out of Canton, MI.
This position will be responsible, but not limited to, the following:
Supports the quality program reviewing and performing inspections, as well as quality and progress reporting, for internal metrics.
Review all applicable project documentation including program, plans and specifications, construction documents, request for information (RFI), as-builts, operation manuals, etc.
Ensure completion of inspections in a timely manner and track/report activities and metrics.
Implement all Quality Management System processes related to the project.
Identify areas for continuous improvements, working with management and team to implement such improvements.
Create/maintain inspection and audit checklists related to work performed.
Perform other duties that may evolve as the position is developed in conjunction with contractual requirements
Update and maintain project documentation as required for Quality Control, job progress, and customer sign off.
Complete weekly and monthly reports.
Other duties as assigned
Formal education in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical program preferred and/or direct experience in such industries.
Intermediate excel skills (must understand pivot tables & formula writing)
Experience/understanding of construction drawings and construction methods.
Demonstrated experience with quality and process improvements a plus.
Efficiency with computer skills, including intermediate knowledge of MS Office software (strong emphasis in Excel), Adobe Acrobat.
Proven experience with data entry.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Great organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work, plus a keen attention to detail.
Ability to learn new skills quickly as required for the position.
High school degree or equivalent required
