Cherokee Casino properties feature nine casinos and numerous retail establishments in northeast Oklahoma. Cherokee Casino locations are Roland, West Siloam Springs, Fort Gibson, Tahlequah, Claremore, Grove, Sallisaw, South Coffeyville and Ramona.

SUMMARY

The Cocktail Server will be responsible for delivery of food and beverage products to our guests throughout the Casino.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following (Other duties may be assigned):


  • Ensure excellent quality food and beverage products are served at all times.
  • Responsible for processing payment for transactions exchanged.
  • Maintain the integrity of the company by adhering to all policies regarding alcohol awareness and the service of alcohol.
  • Responsible for checking identification for guests that appear to be under the age of 35 to ensure they meet the minimum drinking age requirements of 21.
  • Provide excellent guest service to external and internal guests constantly.
  • Upholds cleanliness standards for work station and tools.
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment.
  • Duties may vary by location.
  • Performs other duties as requested.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Requires a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED and one year of related experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES


  • Must have ability to multitask.
  • Requires ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Cash handling experience.
  • Must maintain a positive professional working relationship with management and co-workers.
  • Must have a current driver's license.
  • Must have a food handler's card form the Cherokee Nation.
  • Must pass Alcohol Awareness training provided by CNE.
  • Must obtain a liquor license.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a CNGC gaming license.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Frequent exposure to extreme cold, extreme heat, moisture, smoke, and toxic/caustic chemicals. This position requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and balancing. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
