Job Description Summary:

The Sr. Analyst, Compliance is responsible for assisting the Director, Compliance with the implementation and maintenance of the PTC auditing and monitoring and transparency (aggregate spend) compliance programs. This position will also help to ensure PTC’s compliance with applicable laws, regulations guidance and industry standards. This includes, but may not be limited to: anti-corruption, anti-kickback, privacy, fraud and abuse, anti-bribery and transparency laws.

He/She will proactively manage the quarterly quality check of data and submission of data into our transparency software. This position is also responsible for: preparation and presentation of data metrics regarding transparency, conducting quarterly monitoring activities and presenting a monitoring package for Sales T&E activity. Other monitoring activities include conducting ride-alongs with our field staff and monitoring other promotional programs as needed.

These activities involve close collaboration with internal business teams to ensure an understanding of their needs and to foster a trusted partnership around compliance-related matters. The incumbent works cross-functionally with internal departments and external resources as required to complete his/her tasks.

The Sr. Analyst, Compliance helps to ensure adherence to relevant compliance and regulatory requirements and company policies as appropriate.

Job Description:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Primary duties/responsibilities:


  • Assists in developing, implementing, and managing the company’s global auditing and monitoring and transparency compliance program.

  • Reviews, prepares and corrects data within the transparency software.

  • Submits US Federal and State reporting requirements. 

  • Performs occasional ride-along monitoring with field staff, US travel required.

  • Prepares and maintains the quarterly Sales T&E monitoring package for our VP of Sales.

  • Monitors other promotional programs as needed.

  • Performs other tasks and assignments as needed and specified by management such as assisting with investigations, compliance business partnering and/or training. 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED

* Minimum level of education and years of relevant work experience.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline such as Finance, Accounting, or Healthcare and 2-3 years of progressively responsible and relevant experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology or related environment OR equivalent experience and/or education.

* Special knowledge or skills needed and/or licenses or certificates required.


  • Prior experience of conducting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, FCPA or related auditing and monitoring activities.

  • Experience completing and/or supporting transparency reporting such as: Sunshine Act, Loi Bertrand, EFPIA reporting, US State reporting or other international reporting.

  • Ability to work with large amounts of data to analyze information while still seeing the "big picture".

  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of compliance regulations and industry guidance including, but not limited to, anti-corruption, anti-bribery laws; data privacy laws; transparency laws; industry codes and guidance; rules and regulations regarding the promotion of pharmaceuticals; and regulations and standards within the assigned region.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to balance a strong commitment to customer service with a highly developed sense of corporate and business ethics.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel experience mandatory.

  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively, as required, in a fast-paced, matrixed and team environment characterized by a strong team spirit.

  • Excellent planning, organization and time management skills including the ability to support and prioritize multiple projects. 

*Special knowledge or skills and/or licenses or certificates preferred.

•             Healthcare Compliance Certification

•             Knowledge of Porzio Aggregate Spend Identification a plus.

* Travel requirements

Up to 30 % (domestic)
