We have a rare opportunity for a hardworking Digital and Business Analytics Engineer to be based in West Palm Beach,Florida .You would work with the Methods and Applications Group, which seeks to demonstrate IT resources and Engineering knowledge bringing value through productivity and process innovation. You will participate in a team of fellow practitioners in the implementation of data analytics, collect and visualization to support visibility into the operation of the business and analytical methods.

Responsibilities


  • Contributing to the strategic direction for data centric tools and methods and advance the technology of existing design systems

  • Executing the principals within the methods discipline and providing cross-function mentorship and expertise

  • Supporting the Integrated Product Teams in their execution of product design, legacy products for production, and root cause

  • Working within budget to meet annual targets including development of annual program plans, roadmaps, allocation to projects, and identifying risks & opportunities

  • Collaborating with customers and Compression Systems Engineering (CSE)

  • Be an innovator, leader and entrepreneur

  • Full-stack application development implementing product design knowledge and process

  • Create a digital ecosystem of product design tools though SOA patterns and infrastructure

  • Work with aerodynamics, structures and other engineering disciplines for requirements and design process understanding

  • Build cool "stuff"!

Basic Qualifications:


  • US Citizen

  • Engineering or Computer Science Degree

  • BA/BS degree w/5-7+ years experience

  • MA/MS degree w/2-5+ years experience

  • PhD degree w/0-3+ years experience

  • 3 years' experience with Linux and Python

  • 1 year experience with AWS

  • 1 year experience with Flask or DJango

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Engineering and Computer Science dual degrees preferred

  • Experience with scientific process automation / numerical methods

  • AWS Certification: Foundational, Associate, Professional or Specialty (Machine Learning)

  • Agile development experience

  • Knowledge of statistics / machine learning
