Horne LLP is an industry leader in Accounting and Business Advisory Services and currently provides service from 13 locations across the US and Puerto Rico. We are searching for an experienced IT Support Technician to support our Firm. You'll need to have experience supporting all layers of IT, including workstation hardware and software, networks, and other office devices. A strong work ethic, deep troubleshooting skills, and proactive communication are all key to succeeding in this role.
Provides resolution for IT support tickets
Works with team members in-person and remotely to evaluate and solve technical problems
Maintains detailed logs of conversations and work in the support ticketing system
Tests and troubleshoots issues, creates detailed reproduction steps for escalation
Configures and supports workstations for team members
Configures and supports data networks at sites where our firm is performing work
Upgrades/patches workstations and infrastructure as necessary
Recommends and purchases approved equipment and applications
Other duties as assigned
2+ years of technical support experience
Strong computer and technical skills. Experience with Microsoft Windows, and data networks
Strong work ethic. Must maintain a sense of urgency and professionalism at all times
Ability to operate independently to troubleshoot technical issues
Ability to multitask and handle multiple incoming support requests at once.
Excellent support etiquette, active listening, and customer empathy, both via phone and in-person
Excellent written communication skills
Excellent attendance record
