Investigate, solve, build, or recommend possible solutions to unique situations or problems

Monitor, control & improve processes using Statistical Process Control (SPC) for data compilation

Perform time studies to enable the development of effective Standard Work

Analyze root cause/corrective action resources

Drive solutions for immediate issues using A3 thinking (logical and results-oriented thinking)

Take an unbiased approach to produce more reliable results

Work with Coaches/Mentors & SMEs

Tap into the Tiger Team s collective intellect while at the same time recognizing each Tiger Team Specialist s strengths

Location: Based out of Newington, CT

Reports to: Leader, Lean

Salary Grade:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Support Value Stream Leaders during implementation of Rapid Improvement Event (RIE) action plans & objectives

Support Functional Leaders on special projects

Work with all departments to help resolve problems and performance issues

Use SPC to develop data and analyze the results

Perform time studies to enable the development of effective Standard Work

Identify root cause and corrective action resources

Provide Material Review Board (MRB) & Quality Clinic support to drive improvements on special cause issues

Develop procedures and training for standard work

Support workflow, track and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Ensure that the work environment is a clean and safe work place by implementing the 6S initiative

Deploy the Total Production Maintenance (TPM) audit process throughout the organization to assess benefits, map & facilitate the process

Partner with Value Stream, CI & Facilities teams on machine moves and plant layout

Participate in training as required

5-10% Domestic Travel required

Must be able to lift, push, or pull at least 20 lbs.

Work usually performed in a combination of office and plant setting.
