Old National Bank is looking for a Commercial Banking Unit Underwriter in Evansville, IN who will underwrite, structure and decision small business loans up to $1 million in size utilizing assigned lending authority. The Commercial Banking Unit Underwriter will use an online application software and supporting templates to 1) accurately assess risk and assign the appropriate risk rating on each loan and 2) arrive at a recommended loan decision in an efficient manner. The Commercial Banking Unit Underwriter requires strong communication skills, the ability to collaborate with commercial relationship managers to determine clients' financing needs as well as an appropriate loan structure in accordance with bank guidelines. In addition, sound critical thinking skills and the confidence to make and support loan decisions is required.
