What you’ll do on a typical day:


  • Develop effective and efficient methods to meet customer needs; serve as the primary customer contact on all new initiatives and/or high-level critical issues

  • Drive operational efficiencies to improve service and financial performance

  • Conduct strategic account reviews with all assigned customers to review service needs and usage trends on a regular basis

  • Execute individually assigned components of startup action plans

  • Participate in developing integration plans to support client and company initiatives

  • Direct, develop, mentor and lead operational teams

  • Establish and meet site objectives in the areas of financial performance, safety, quality and customer service  

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field

  • 10 years of progressive management experience with 5 years in supply chain and logistics

It’d be great if you also have:


  • MBA or Master’s degree 

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

  • 15 years of experience in logistics/supply chain and business development

  • 10 years of experience in management consulting and business transformation/change management

  • Ability to develop insightful and actionable analyses with detailed explanations regarding drivers of the results; able to produce unambiguous, comprehensive and accurate interpretations

  • Ability to perform with a high level of initiative, exhibiting persistence and willingness to stimulate new ideas within the organization

  • Excellent leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively supervise, coach and influence employees
