ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for the collection, review, and analysis of data regarding the logistics operation. The Operations Analyst must be able to understand core business service objectives, processes, and to provide support for the operations team through analytical tools and analysis.
Develops and presents reports and metrics in a concise manner that support the operation
Utilize clients warehouse management system in order to obtain needed information
Ensures deliverables are met as defined in order to achieve success
Track and report performance metrics, action items, issues, and risks
Challenge "business as usual" using fact-based, objective mindset
Prepare status reports and presentations suitable for varied audiences
Develop strong working relationships with internal staff to ensure effective communication with all related functional areas
Maintain and ensure compliance with safety procedures and expectations
Perform other requests and duties as assigned by the General Manager or upper level management
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Skill in typing and general computer literacy.
Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to see the overall picture.
Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the business organizations.
Ability to solve problems and adapt to situations requiring solutions to unforeseen circumstances.
Ability to communicate effectively with partners, team members, management, and others.
Ability to multitask in stressful and fast-paced environments.
Be willing to submit to a background check and urinalysis drug screen upon offer of employment.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND CERTIFICATION:
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or relevant work experience.
Warehouse experience preferred.
