A Brief Summary of This Position:
The Associate International Order Manager enters, schedules, reviews, accepts, administers and invoices irrigation system orders, sprinkler packages, and parts orders for the assigned international market. The position coordinates orders with shipping, manufacturing, purchasing and logistics to ensure best customer service and response. The Associate Order Manager strives to ensure accuracy and completeness of all orders giving attention to scheduling and considering the potential for split shipments to optimum utilization of capacity and customer satisfaction. This person deals with global customers, many of whom have limited English language capabilities. This position also works with internal cross-functional teams involved in supporting the international orders. The Associate Order Manager also supports the international sales team with numerous administrative tasks including V20 order entry. This position will also be responsible for leading process improvements, key performance indicators (KPI's), and dashboard reporting.

Working Environment and Physical Efforts:
Work is typically performed within either an office environment or from a home-office environment. Some work is done in the dealer locations or at off-site trade shows. While visiting any manufacturing areas of Valmont, the use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is required at all times. The work environment can be demanding at times especially during the busy sales season or prior to new product launches. Domestic and International travel represents up to 5% of the work schedule and includes transportation by both vehicle and by air.
Frequent sitting for long periods of time. Light physical effort is required for handling, gripping, grasping, as well as reaching outward and upward. Regular filing, speaking over the telephone and participating in meetings. High level of mental stamina for decision making and analyzing. On rare occasions, the employee may need to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds in working with large files, binders, and boxes of paper. A dolly is available for transportation of heavier items. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
