Position description

The Department of Behavioral Health at Mayo Clinic Health System - Franciscan Healthcare in La Crosse, WI, is seeking an Adult Psychiatrist with special interest in Addiction Psychiatry.

Mayo Clinic Health System - Franciscan Healthcare Behavioral Health Services is a growing and robust interdisciplinary team of Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Neuropsychologists, Nurses, and Therapists. This group provides evidence-based diagnostic and treatment interventions to children, adolescents, adults, and families struggling with mental health and/or substance use disorders. Care is provided in primary care clinics, an outpatient behavioral health center, hospital for consultations, and four residential programs.

This position will include administrative duties and will work with both the State of Wisconsin as a Medical Director and La Crosse County through the Alliance to Heal to address opioid abuse in the region. Additionally, an opportunity to serve on our institutional opioids stewardship group will be an integral part of this position.

License or certification

Candidates must be eligible for licensure in the state of Wisconsin. Board certification/board eligibility in General Psychiatry through the American Board of Psychiatry as well as Addictions Psychiatry is required.
