CNSP is seeking a Software Application Developer (Java Developer) to be responsible for design, development, troubleshooting, debugging, integration, and implementation of enterprise software applications.


Includes the following:

  • Provide detailed reports as needed to outline issues and deficiencies found in submissions.
  • Analyze and study complex system requirements for development of new systems and services. Test, debug, and refine the system procedure to improve performance.
  • Develop, modify, apply, and maintain developed standards for in-house products and processes.
  • Analyze and document software development standards and approaches.
  • Follow the visual style of the application.
  • Develop software solutions that operate against relational databases including; relational object mapping, screen creation and report development.
  • Follow documented software development standards and approaches.
  • Perform unit testing of all work.
  • Support the Government Lead in providing training to staff on any other pertinent topics. Consult with the customer and provide advice on policy development, planning, and implementation.
  • Support the information portal database.
  • Perform other job related duties as required.




  • A bachelor's degree in a related technical field is highly desired; a High School Diploma or equivalent is required.


  • Essential skills and tools: Prime Faces, Java Server Faces, Entity Beans, Java Persistence API, EJBs, Subversion, SQL Developer, NetBeans IDE, WebLogic 12c server, Oracle 12c database, Oracle Web Center Content.
  • Language proficiencies: Java, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, SQL, HTML
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required.
  • Candidate should have experience with defining and delivering enterprise integration solutions for large organizations and working with senior level business leaders.
  • Familiarity with JIRA or an agile development process is desired
  • Ability to pass a federal background check and a drug screen.
