This position is responsible for managing a team of analysts responsible for the data management, segmentation and analysis of multi-channel direct to consumer marketing campaigns. The successful candidate will work with business partners to develop, measure and evaluate multi-channel marketing programs and key business initiatives. The incumbent will play an instrumental role in the creation of new business cases by developing Key Performance Indicators and associated reporting. In addition, they are responsible for planning and executing high-impact data analytics projects and initiatives and proactively identifying and addressing data analytics needs. Excellent communications and story-telling skills will enable successful development and design of presentations, reports, and other deliverables to communicate findings and makes recommendations. The candidate must be able to summarize findings in written and verbal reports to key stakeholders, communicating with both technical and non-technical team members. The incumbent will be directing project plans, timelines, and vendor relationships and will be expected to review relevant academic and industry research to identify new and useful techniques, algorithms, etc.
Provide data and insights to the annual marketing plan development
Develop annual data strategy, goals and roadmap and develop budget to support.
Oversight of Production, Data acquisition, storage and Analytic budget
Align KPIs to annual goals in marketing plan.
Oversee annual marketing forecast development and reporting.
Identify opportunities where deeper data analysis can provide actionable insights to improve results
Support staff in transforming data into strategic recommendations and associated mini-business cases to support implementation.

Improving Product penetration
Improving response rate of segments
Client management and partnership with client on analytics projects and forecasts.
Presents insights, recommendations and forecasted outcomes to client and internal business partners.
Consultation on report development and interpretation of results
Develop relationships within GI and outside of GI that benefit and inform our work. (Customer Experience, Customer Office, ISG, External vendors)
Acts as the Vendor engagement manager for external data providers and analytics firms. Develops proposals, business cases and contract development
Staff coaching and management
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, Masters Degree preferred
Minimum of 6+ years work experience in data analysis and or digital marketing analytics
Proven consulting skills enabling the individual to work with others to elicit information, to think objectively and analytically and to influence outcomes positively
Demonstrated experience leading a varied team of professionals
Proven track record of using data to provide actionable business results.
Experience analyzing data and pulling together stories to create insight. Ability to work with all types of data, structured and unstructured, to be able to design and implement analytical solutions
Experience with B2B and B2C marketing
Experience with digital marketing and new marketing trends
Polished written and oral communication skills, with ability to present and clearly explain data to non-technical executive audiences.
Strong project management skills / experience managing projects, budgets, and schedules to successful completion.
Entrepreneurial spirit, persistence and resilience; comfort with and ability to thrive on and drive change while navigating ambiguity.
