Georgia-Pacific’s Consumer Products business is looking for a talented individual to join our Data Management team. The Master Data Coordinator position ensures material and customer data is available and accurate by working closely with the Sales Organization, Marketing, Package Engineering, Customer Service and Finance professionals across multiple business areas. This individual will use problem-solving skills to work through issues and will make complex decisions concerning master data based on a thorough understanding of the master data processes. 



A Day In The Life Typically Includes:


  • Manage data in the MDG/SAP systems for the Consumer Products businesses following Data Governance guidelines

    • Create and enrich new customers following the defined guidelines by the Finance and Order Management teams

    • Create and enrich material records collaborating with Marketing and Packaging Engineers

    • Perform data cleansing audits and validation in alignment with established data governance standards

    • Maintain and improve data integrity and accuracy to eliminate recurring data issues

    • Support ongoing data quality initiatives

  • Managing customer and/or material master information in Georgia-Pacific’s internal systems (SAP, MDG and Yellow Pages) for the Consumer Products Businesses

  • Communicate effectively through written and oral communication

  • Manage own time by setting and meeting deadlines

  • Maintaining documentation and controls for master data processes


What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED

  • One of the following:

    • An Associate degree or higher in Business Management

    • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in business to business customer service OR data management

  • Experience using Microsoft Office programs such as Word to write business correspondence, Excel for use of spreadsheets, reporting and simple formulas and Outlook for internal and external correspondence


What Will Put You Ahead?

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business

  • Experience with SAP

  • Experience in Master Data Management
