We are seeking a full time Biomedical Engineer to combine the design and problem solving skills of engineering with medical and biological sciences. Through extensive research and development, you will acquire knowledge needed to solve new problems. In this role, you’ll also be responsible for balancing quality, quantity and complexity in work output. Other essential functions include:


  • Assist design engineering as needed with component datasheet review and schematic design review

  • May partner with electrical engineering or process manufacturer to turn on new processors

  • May work with software vendors to integrate externally developed deliverables into project

  • Evaluates new technologies as they apply to existing functions

Qualified candidate will possess A Bachelor of Science or above in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science from a four-year college or university with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA, or equivalent education/experience. Candidates must all so be detail-oriented and have the ability to work proactively and effectively with minimal supervision and demonstrate strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Candidates with experience in the following areas are preferred:


  • Strong C/C++ programming skills and the ability to work with low power embedded systems

  • Previous experience designing, developing, and validating devices

  • Working knowledge with wearables desired - a passion for the advancing state of the art technologies to new platforms and solutions

  • Capture/Translate/Apply: human subject studies, measurement principles, sensor fusion, numerical modeling, algorithm design, machine learning

  • Experience with bio-signal sensing and processing relating to physiological, cardiovascular, and neurological

  • Experience with FDA and CE regulations as they apply to non-invasive devices and wearables
