Purpose

~ Responsible for all Market Representation activities that are dictated by Sr. Group Manager, Regional Market Representation.

 

Major Responsibilities

~ Prospect for open point candidates. Identify and recommend strongest candidate for open points.

~ Prepare all documentation involving Sales & Service Agreements in a timely fashion.

~ New Sales and Service Agreements.

~ Renewals

~ Amendments

~ Buy/Sells

~ Terminations

~ Ensure dealership compliance with HMA dealership guidelines and requirements.

~ Develop reports and analyze data regarding Market Rep activities, provide information to management and DSMs for use in the Region.

~ Schedule, conduct and summarize application data and interviews for dealer applicants in the Region.

~ Supervise and direct activities of administrative assistant.

~ Develop and recommend Market Rep plans and strategies.

~ Identify markets within region that need additional Hyundai dealer representation.

~ Monitor the timely shutdown of dealers that terminate.  

~ Work closely with National Office to achieve Market Representation goals.

~ Perform all other assigned duties (duties that are ancillary to this position and/or complement the essential duties) as required.

 

Authority

~ Responsible for approving Time Off Requests for regional Market Representation section.

~ Responsible for approving Equipment/Software requests for regional Market Representation section.

~ Responsible for completing the Performance Goals/Evaluations for regional Market Representation section.

 

Education

~ Bachelor’s degree preferred

~ Master’s degree a plus

 

Related Experience

~ Eight years wholesale related automotive experienced desired with demonstrated abilities in direct dealer contacts.

~ Two to three years of supervisory experience desired.

~ Demonstrated abilities in AS400, SQL, EXAM, QMF and database management.

 

Skill/Knowledge

~ Excellent analytical skills

~ Excellent communication skills

~ Excellent organizational skills

~ Excellent time management skills

~ QMF query ability

~ Strong computer skills – Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.
