Description

This position will lead the sales effort to the AC Aftermarket Sales Team In this strategic role, he/she will assist in execution of pricing, product and business strategies, maintain customer product profiles, manage product launches and phase-outs, develop key relationships and will provide technical support as needed. The ideal candidate will manage communications both internally and externally to ensure alignment with a very strategic customer.

Schedule and Location

We offer the flexibility of a core hour work schedule. Employees can flex their start and stop times given they are working during the core hours of 9:00 am – 3:00 pm. Our teams work together to ensure their chosen work schedules are supporting our customers. This position is located in the north east or Sidney, Ohio. It is home based and will require daily travel within the territory, averaging 6 overnight trips per month.

Responsibilities


  • Drive Sales Growth within the Emerson AC Wholesale Channel


  • Develop Key Relationships with Customer Engineering, Marketing, Supply Chain, etc.


  • Develop and Manage Pricing Programs, New Product Launches & Product Phase Outs


  • Communicate OEM Customer Product Market changes with Headquarters of Emerson Wholesalers


  • Provide Technical Guidance


  • Attend Trade events


  • Build Key Relationships and gain market intelligence with down channel enfluencers such as Contractors, Building owners, and utilities


  • Develop and be active with local HVAC vocational schools in region

Additional Information

  • Travel Requirements: 50%. There will be an average of 6 overnight trips per month.



Requirements

 

Basic


  • Four (4) year degree plus (4) years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Must have ability to lead group projects with customers. Must have professional appearance and attitude

  • Must be familiar with Microsoft Office programs

  • Must be able to travel to customer wholesale and contractor locations within the Northeast region and otherwise identified 

Preferred


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business/Technical Field

  • MBA/MS a plus

  • Sales background is preferred

  • Five (5) years HVAC specific experience

  • Very knowledgeable of HVAC Systems and Refrigerant Compressors
