Campbell Ewald is looking for a Paid Search Analyst to join their team in Detroit.

The Analyst will be responsible for pacing and budgeting across a sub section of an enterprise Paid Search accounts, coordinating and ensuring that that daily budgets and goals are on track, issues are reported and projects deadlines are met. Reporting to the Head of Search / Search Director and working in collaboration with other Search Managers and Strategists.

The ideal candidate must have a strong PPC/SEM background, with a working knowledge of other digital channels, including social media and display. Candidates will have at least 1.5 years of professional experience in paid search. Advertising agency experience is a must.


· Fulfill relevant daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly tasks ensuring that all campaigns are executed to plan and meet the targets

· Plan, implement, optimize and deliver paid (SEM) campaigns for our clients

· Work closely with client teams to communicate campaign objectives, timing and results

· Provide regular results analysis, reporting and recommendations

· Work with Search Manager and Strategist to ensure that:

o Campaigns are set up and optimized in the correct way, according to brief and search best practices

o Campaigns are monitored daily and hit relevant targets

o Reports and presentations are delivered to the highest level of quality, accuracy and integrity

· Develop positive relationships that reflect true partnership in achieving the goals of the client's business

· Work collaboratively with search vendors, such as Google and Bing, as well as technology providers, such as Marin

· Be reliable; be someone the client can trust; have integrity

· Effectively manage client expectations on assigned tasks

· Understand individual client needs (including and beyond specific projects) so you can help them be successful in their roles; ensure clients have the necessary information and materials they need to do their jobs well

· Work to develop a solid understanding of the client's business, with emphasis on your area of responsibility

· Positively represent Campbell Ewald at all times

· Proactively contribute to a positive team atmosphere and company culture, and generally be a role model for the junior members of the team

What skills will help you stand out?

· At least 1-2 years professional experience in search marketing (SEO, SEM, PPC) and/or related field (digital marketing, social media, website analytics, web development)

· Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale, enterprise-level paid search campaigns

· Experience with PPC technology platforms and tools

· Highly analytical and strong understanding of performance metrics

· Expertise in data analysis and data interpretation

· Expert understanding and demonstrated experience in paid search (PPC), including keyword research, ad copy development, bid management platforms and optimizations

· Developed a solid search marketing knowledge (across both PPC and SEO), by attending training, obtaining relevant qualification and keeping up to date with industry news and developments

· Ability to work well with internal teams, external stakeholders and clients

· Passion of search and digital trends is a must

· Avid advocate for innovation and testing to maximize results

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Bachelor's degree or higher

· Global experience a plus

· A good listener and team player
